Technology for independent businesses

Better websites, simpler workflows, and practical AI skills. More time for the work you love.

Less admin. More time at the wheel.

For the people who build, make, grow
& keep things moving.

Trades & crafts. Farms & local services.
Professional practices. Businesses finding their next chapter.

Good technology
& better days.

A clearer way to show up online, less repetitive work, and the confidence to use the right tools.

Small business cybersecurity

Protect the business
you’ve built.

Your work, your customers, your peace of mind. Practical security for your devices, accounts, and everyday decisions—especially when AI makes scams harder to spot.

Protecting people was central to our founder’s work. We’re carrying that care forward, from hands-on protection to the knowledge that helps you stay a step ahead.

Stronger systems. Safer habits. More confidence.

A useful first project.
Built around your work.

Three examples of where we could start, shaped around your customers, your tools, and the way you work.

For contractors & trades

Keep good enquiries moving.

Sam’s renovation business was growing through word of mouth. But between site visits and preparing quotes, project details were getting buried in texts, photos, and emails.

Together, we could bring enquiries, job details, and next steps into a simple project tracker, with follow-up templates that sound like Sam. We’d build around the tools he already uses and walk through it together.

What gets easier

Let’s streamline your project management

Spend less time sorting orders.

Funké’s market garden had regular customers eager to buy each week. But sharing what was ready and piecing together orders was taking time away from growing.

Together, we could create an easy-to-update seasonal page and a straightforward order form, with clear pickup details and orders gathered in one place. We’d help Funké feel comfortable updating it as the season changes.

What gets easier
Customers know what’s fresh and how to order. Funké knows what to harvest, pack, and set aside.
Let your clients know what you’re cooking up

For professional practices

Give clients a smoother start.

Asha’s small accounting practice had clients who came back year after year. But chasing missing paperwork and repeating the same reminders was leaving less time for the conversations her clients valued.

Together, we could create a clear client checklist, reusable reminders, and a simple view of what’s still needed. We’d fit them around the practice’s existing tools and help Asha’s team feel comfortable using them.

What gets easier
Clients know what to send and what happens next. Asha can see what’s ready and where a personal follow-up would help.
Let’s make more room for your clients

New possibilities.
The same human care.

Our founder used technology to help people pursue their ambitions. We’re carrying that purpose forward, with thoughtful improvements that fit the way you work.

Our story

Listen before changing things.

We start with your business, your people, and what’s getting in the way.

A useful, manageable scope.

Clear deliverables, responsibilities, and costs, agreed before the work begins.

Confidence that stays with you.

Practical guidance and a handover so you can use what we build.

The trust we’re
building on.

A few things
you might be wondering.

A useful change starts with a straightforward conversation.

Where should we start?

Tell us what’s taking too much time or making work harder. We’ll discuss whether a website project, workflow improvement, security review, or practical training would help.

Do I need all of these services?

No. Each is a separate, clearly scoped project. A website project should be useful on its own. Further work is optional.

Will we have to replace all our tools?

We start with what you already use. A better process or a simple connection may be enough. We recommend a change when there’s a practical reason for it.

Are you offering on-call IT repairs?

Our current focus is planned website, workflow, cybersecurity, and training projects. We don’t offer 24/7 emergency support or guaranteed on-site repairs. If you know H&BITS from before, get in touch to discuss your next steps.

What would you like
more time for?

Tell us about your business. We’ll find a useful place to start.
